Spring Season 2025 (registration OPEN!)

Season starts: March 9

Big Gay Frisbee (BGF) is a queer, recreational ultimate frisbee league.

  • We welcome all genders, orientations, and skill and experience. 

  • We focus on an inclusive and social experience with some opportunity for skill development.

  • Spring league will take places Sundays from 1-4 pm from Mar 9 - May 18.

  • The league will play at the Polo Fields in Golden Gate Park. Pitches #1 and #3 will be split in half to accommodate 2 games on each pitch at a time.

  • Players register as individuals and get placed onto teams shortly after registration ends. We will generate teams based on the self-rankings provided by players during registration to ensure balanced teams. (League leadership may override player provided rankings if they appear to not reflect reality)

  • The registration fee for Spring League is $60. Please note: BGF provides a scholarship program that ensures players are not denied participation because of ability to pay. If you need financial assistance, please contact League Commissioner, Quinn Jonas (qjonas14@gmail.com), and we'll share options for scholarships.
