Why give to Proud Ultimate?

Perhaps you have participated in a season or two of BGF, where we focus on queer, inclusive ultimate frisbee. Maybe you've attended an ultimate tournament that we hosted (Sin City in Vegas or Folsom Invitational in SF) and made lasting connections and memories. Your donation to Proud Ultimate helps sustain these opportunities for queer ultimate athletes to compete, connect, and form community.

What does my donation go towards?

Donations support the Proud Ultimate organization and our goals to:

  • Increase access for queer athletes to complete in leagues and tournaments around the country via equipment and travel scholarships

  • Provide free and low-cost skill development workshops, clinics, and pick-ups for queer ultimate athletes of all skill levels

  • Grow our queer ultimate community by building a network of leagues, clubs, and groups nationwide

How can I give to Proud Ultimate?

  • Contributions via your employer with company match [Better / Best]

    • Example: You donate $100; your company matches $100.

    • Proud Ultimate gets $200!

    • You get to deduct $100 from your taxes.

Are my donations tax deductible?

Yes! We are a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization and if you itemize deductions when you file taxes, you should be able to include these donations (but check in with your accountant first). You'll get an email from us by the end of the year acknowledging your gift and providing all the info you'll need.

Any other considerations?

We are a fully volunteer-led and run organization, which means any and all donations are reinvested in this community that we all love.
